Observing Remembrance Day in Your Business
Remembrance Day marks the anniversary of the armistice which ended the First World War (1914–18). Each year Australians observe one minute silence at 11 am on 11 November, in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts.
Your Business can support the observing not only of the Minutes silence, but also make an effort to reward enlisted and returned service man and women. Not usually a day to note on the Marketing calendar, it is however a great public relations exercise to show your support to the meaning of Remembrance Day and with a little preparation have something special for staff and customers.
How many businesses stopped only a few days ago for The Melbourne Cup?
Something to reflect on?
Cheers and here’s to our Diggers Past and Present. God Bless You All.
